The French Expert Taster of Olive Oil Visits the National Company for Agro-Industries (Zayt)

The chairman of the board of directors, Salam Amin and a number of the board directors' members welcomed the French Expert Taster Mr. Jean Marie Baldassari and Mr. Thomas Cazalis.

The French Expert tasted various samples of olive oil produced by the company.
He assured that the Palestinian olive oil is one of the best quality types of oil in its taste, smell and acidity rate that doesn't exceed 0.2%.
He completed his visit by going to the company's building and the filing factory in Annabi Saleh village. The building includes storage for olive oil in a capacity exceeding 600 tons. The storage consists of stainless steel tanks and a high technology net.
Salam Amin explained the goals and future vision of the company. One of its goals is acquiring the IZO quality certificate 220000 and completing the automatic filing lines imported from Italy.
The French Expert Taster praised the high technology of the storage and the new olive mill press. He also expressed his admiration in the way the company works and hoped more progress for them.
Zayt Company is considered one of the leading companies in producing and exporting quality virgin olive oil bottled in different packages, glass and ceramic, to different countries in Europe, the United States, Canada, and some Middle Eastern countries.

 

 

Exhibition of “Oro Giallo Mediterraneo” (Mediterranean Yellow Gold)

Most of the exhibitors were Italians, the strangers were from Greece, Jordan and Palestine, represented by Zayt.
The exhibition has taken place in a very important and beautiful palace, Zayt received the visit of various experts of the sector, some dealers and the consuls of 5 countries, as Turkey, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Germany.

Everybody has much appreciated the oil and also Zayt won a very important award the best extra virgin olive oil big award for the ability to produce the best quality. Zayt participation to this kind of exhibitions it is really important, because this can keep high the name of Zayt in the world. Further the award obtained by Zayt it's a really precious thing, which must be used to give a prestigious image of Zayt, both locally and at an international level.
